Church Within A Church

I enjoyed last night.

Nine of us young lads (I’m the oldest of the mostly teenage crew) went for a long walk last night through the fields and roads near our house. We stopped on several occasions.

Our first stop was to gaze at the stars.
Our second stop was for our traditional nocturnal prank- making random statues on the side of the road as cars passed, laughing, baffled or alarmed!
We stopped at the top of a hill to pray for our friends.
Half of us stopped, hiding behind or climbing trees to ambush the other half of the group.
Finally, with piggybacks back up the hill to the house, we walked out through the garden to light a Chinese lantern.

This is my cell group. We’re a group of lads, inept explorers of our phosphorescent future. We’re finding out what it means to love God and to love one another. Rephrase: We’re finding out what it means to love God by loving one another.

This is my Church within a Church. I love it.
