Time for Church to go out of business

Well I give a hearty agreement to all that!

Although I would add that it’s very important for us to not just be led by our reactions to any way of doing church but by the vision Jesus reveals to us, the step-by-step of the Holy Spirit.

  1. Unfortunately, churches of all denominations and styles tend to be insular in nature, loving themselves and their own communities and never truly and sincerely reaching out to ‘their neighbour in the darkness’. Most people are isolated and alienated when they fall on hard times and withdraw from a church community and there are very few churches that have the time or the compassion to continue to reach out to the lost, lonely, ill or depressed. They are too busy caring for their own flock.
